Why?
This two-hour workshop is aimed at unfolding the foundational values of fairy tales. Its purpose is to assist parents and adults who work with young children (0-8) maximizing the effectiveness of daily interactions through the hidden powers of fairy tales.

On-going - Russian-Speaking Children's New Year Celebration 2015 took place on January 11 at Pease Auditorium, CPCC.
It was a great event attended y over 40 people. Almost 50 children took part in the concert representing various communities and schools.
This event was made possible with the generous support from: Arts & Science Council, the N.C. Arts Council a Division of The Department of Cultural Resources and the National Endowment for the Arts

2013-2014 - in partnership with Russian Carolina, LLC, community sponsors and enthusiasts, Community Education Project led 11th International Russian-Speaking Children's New Year Celebration and revived an International Women's Day Celebration.
2012-2013 - in partnership with Russian Carolina, LLC and community enthusiasts, Community Education Project participated in the creation of the 10th International Russian-Speaking Children's New Year Celebration.
2011-2012 – Cedarwood Academy, a community education project, actively participated in the spring Ulysses Festival, holding several Russian Language workshops and supporting the organization of a children’s activities area during the event.
2010-2011 – Community Education Project held a progressive community Inspirational Training Day for teachers and parents.
2009-2010 – Community Education Project held a series of workshops featuring progressive methods to teach children academics and inner discipline.
2008-2009 – Community Education Project ran a Children’s Festival offering progressive programs and arts institutions of Charlotte a chance to showcase their work. It was a well received educational, fun, and family friendly event.
